10MW! Unlocking a New Paradigm for Green Development

Release time:

Nov 14,2025

On the shores of the Yellow Sea, Lianyungang is witnessing a quiet yet vibrant green collaboration between "photovoltaics + biotechnology"—Cando’s 10MW single-unit lightweight steel component commercial and industrial distributed PV project has been successfully implemented at a local edible mushroom biotech enterprise, injecting fresh momentum into its sustainable growth and showcasing how cutting-edge technology is empowering the real economy through photovoltaic innovation.

Precision-fit, lightweight yet robust components solve rooftop challenges for commercial and industrial applications.

The project features a vast rooftop space at the factory, but it places stringent demands on the components regarding lightweight design, adaptability, and safety. Additionally, biotech companies have high requirements for production continuity, meaning the construction process must never disrupt normal operations. Cando’s lightweight steel components, with their core advantages of "lightweight design + high-strength performance + customized installation solutions," perfectly meet the project’s needs.

Ultra-lightweight structural design delivers a unit component weight of just 4–6 kg/㎡, significantly reducing the load pressure on rooftops—eliminating the need for additional reinforcement and instantly putting an end to the headaches that come with retrofitting factory buildings. Featuring ultra-thin tempered glass on the front side combined with patented lightweight frame technology, this innovative solution achieves exceptional material and structural strength, ensuring the safety and reliability of the lightweight steel components. It boasts outstanding performance in resisting wind uplift, snow loads, and impacts, while also offering superior resistance to dust accumulation, fire hazards, and corrosion. As a result, biotech companies can install these systems effortlessly—and profit securely. Plus, the proprietary wind-resistant hook installation system is perfectly tailored to meet project requirements, providing not only easy assembly but also unmatched installation durability.

A 10MW-scale project to establish a new green energy hub for biotech enterprises.

The project has a total installed capacity of 10 MW and will cover the rooftops of multiple production workshops belonging to the project owner. Once completed, the project is expected to generate approximately 12 million kWh of electricity annually, equivalent to reducing standard coal consumption by about 4,000 tons per year and cutting carbon dioxide emissions by roughly 12,000 tons annually.

For edible mushroom biotechnology enterprises, the commissioning of photovoltaic power plants not only meets their electricity needs during the production process but also significantly reduces energy costs through the "self-generation for self-use, with surplus power fed into the grid" model. Moreover, by leveraging green energy labels, these companies can enhance their eco-friendly corporate image, helping them seize a competitive edge in the green agriculture sector and ultimately achieve a win-win outcome—balancing economic benefits with social impact.

As a photovoltaic company dedicated to the R&D and application of lightweight, rigid components, Cando has always remained steadfastly guided by the principle of "driving innovation to perfectly align with specific scenario needs." This project marks another successful implementation of lightweight, rigid modules in biotech enterprises and agriculture-related commercial and industrial settings—truly a standout example of cross-sector integration between "photovoltaics + specialized industries." At the same time, Cando looks forward to empowering more distributed scenarios with the green "wings" of solar power, helping countless sites and businesses soar toward a low-carbon future!
